Our History

Ideation: Kim Ogg Former Distict Attorney of Harris County Texas and Tom Ramsay, PE Commissioner of Harris County Precinct 3 visioned the creation of a Crime Victim rights organization primarily focused on Legislative initiatives.

Initial Organizing Activities: Kim Ogg and Robert J. Nuelle, Jr. began discussions on this new organization on January of 2025. Potential leadership candidates were reviewed and initial discussions were started. The first official meeting on January 5, 2025 included this invitation: "Over the course of my 37 year career, there’s been a consistent gap in the efforts to organize crime victims into an effective and collective group of the only exception was during the early 90s, with the formation of a victims rights organization called “Justice for All “.  I was a volunteer lawyer who joined and aided them for many years. We were effective and strong.

I am inviting you to a Zoom meeting to discuss the possibility of regenerating Justice for All or creating a brand new 501 C4 organization. While this will take some time, we can organize and be effective during this upcoming legislative session if we work together professionally.  We can also help with individual cases currently in the hands of law-enforcement investigators and/or the DAs office. Crime Victim‘s are really going to need advocacy under the current county administration. And we have friendly ears in Austin."

The rest of the story is still being written!
